Definitely worth a look at sunrise for the spectacular view over the Taipei Basin. There is now a road that goes almost to the top so no longer need to climb the one thousand steps from the temple below. There are many other temples to visit on the way back from watching the sunrise view each with a beautiful view of the city. The temple even has a convenience store if you need drinks or a snack. The only thing is that the temple looks newly built even through it is old. I guess it has been refurbished since the new road was built. The eldest Tudi Gong statue is very small and you can't get close to it for photos. Lots of pensioners walk up and down at sunrise which is amazing. Can see the old folks practicing various exercises and qigong. The biggest surprise is the number of life-sized status of dinosaurs lining the route up - see my photos.

I took shuttle bus to the Fude temple. Shuttle bus F512 at the Bus Stop in front of JingAn station. For return trip : from Fude Temple to JingAn Station. Wait for shuttle bus F512 at the Fude Temple bus stop. Every 1 hour frequency. Using Uber is about 170-200 NTD per way. 《13.feb.2022》

It’s such a big and beautiful temple. It's located on the top of a mountain, but very close to central Zhonghe. You can see the view of New Taipei City and Taipei City when the weather is clear. I even saw the big Ferris Wheel in Neihu.

It’s up in the mountain so I would recommend you to take Uber up here otherwise u have to walk 1-2km. Quite a popular temple in Taiwan . Not crowded unless it’s new year and u get to see the view of Taiwan . Really beautiful especially during sunset

Beautiful landmark for Taipei night view. Above sea levels 302m. Whatever you wish for, I wish for you too. May all your wishes come true!

The view to the city of Taipei in the setting sun was wonderful. The hike up to the top level of the temple is a good work out. Plenty of free parking.

Me and my friends went there by taxi. We stayed there overnight to see the city lights and afterwards, the sunrise. It was an unforgettable experience, we also had a chance to play badminton together with the elder. Highly recommended for those group of friends out there that wanna stay overnight ✨

Absolutely stunning views, you have to walk up a few steps, but it's not too bad. Worth the effort. It's worth looking up how to pray before you go, you should do it in a particular order so the god's will hear it!

Great place to see the glorious Taipei skyline! Best view is up the 450 steps to the top temple. Magnificent !

It's the best place to enjoy the night view of Taipei city and New Taipei city. The temple is hosted by local god(pray for $ and good luck), KunFuChi (pray for better performance in every examination), lunar elder(pray for meeting new good guy or girl). You can take taxi to go there(and then walk down the mountain)or rent a motorcycle to go, though it's quite a challenge due to the really steep road to the temple .

A nice spot to view New Taipei City, you can even see Taipei 101. There are plenty of parking space for cars and scooters. And shops that sell water and food. It’s a great relief after long period of rainy days in Taipei.
